AC III

Just finished and watched the ending of Brotherhood… for the second time. After the first time I somehow did not want to go through this again for a while simply because I needed some rest and relaxation after such intense ending. Yes, it was a shocker at first, who would have suspected Lucy gets killed – but hey, I always knew something was wrong about her… Never seen a stiffer female – hey, did she have a broom up her a$$ or what? So glad she will not be back in AC III. I might be the only one who’s glad about this.

So… It is obvious where AC III is taking place… Phyrgian Cap and Masonic Eye =  France during the Revolution. Nice, what era could be better? However, what’s with the cross? Apparently pre-French Revolution flag was a white cross, perhaps it’s another confirmation we’ll be thrown into some Templar action at the onset of those awesome times.

I have one worry though, and aside that I have full faith in Ubisoft not to disappoint me. Well, it looks like Desmond will not come back. Not a fan of Desmond, but hey, Ezio and Altair LOOKED like him and I liked it. A lot. Desmond has a bad a$$, awful haircut and “dead” eyes but his ancestors… mhm… they were something. To look at. And the personality, of course, to fall for. Now however, when it has been revealed that Animus these days has “memory within memory” feature enabled, and the two unknown voices shouting to put “him” back into Animus as “he” is going into shock, it makes one wonder: are we going to deal now with someone whose ancestor was Desmond? How is that possible though? If implied end of the world happens in 2012, Desmond still has no kids 72 days before that, how can that be then? Unless something happened that prevented that end of the world, and we haven’t been told yet.

Well, can’t wait for AC III.  And also any single player DLC for Brotherhood that would hopefully shed some light on the next beg release.
